Very portable and comes apart easily, has a compartment for the sides. While the side pieces are just a tad too tight going into the slots, they remain in place with no wiggling around whole cutting the bread.
Your bread of course can be sliced without a bread slicer buf it helps for uniform slices for toasters and sandwiches.

It works great, but I looked all over trying to find out if it was dishwasher safe or not and couldn’t find any info from the company or in the reviews. So I took my chances and put it in the dishwasher and it’s in bad shape. Some parts have expanded and won’t fit in the slots and another part had the wood come apart and I had to glue it back together. Lesson learned.

I love this thing. No more wasted bread. It looks kinda pretty sitting on the counter but it folds up nicely to stow. Crumbs are collected in the bottom so you don’t have crumbs all over the place.

Wonderful bread slice guide that adjusts for most loaf size and has two nice thickness choices for slices. Tall enough for 2 lb. loaf. Easy to use and has smooth edges on the knife guides. To clean just dump the crumbs off when done. I took pics to show a 1 lb. loaf and a 2 lb. loaf in the slicer. Very sturdy and yet comes apart for easy storage. I thought it was a little expensive, but I decided it worth it! Highly recommend this.

When I was looking for bread slicer I was going to buy bread slicer which comes with tray for crumbs. But I decided to buy simple bread slicer which does the job.
This bread slicer is good quality and well made. I can slice 2 different slices, compact storage and very easy to clean.
